(Why does reddit have such a bad reputation? ) Anyway, I think this gown looks really modern and original, and I can definitely see how you drew inspiration from the site's mascot and color scheme. It's really nice!
I was about to write, "That isn't a dress that any woman would wear and women generally don't want an evening gown to draw giant circles over their boobs in Magic Marker," and then I realized that Reddit doesn't exactly have the best reputation and it's entirely appropriate.
Definitely! I've heard of a lot of Reddit communities that fight misogyny in a lot of really good ways! And it certainly isn't as bad as 4chan. But, it's also true that the need for groups on Reddit to clash with other groups in the name of equality (just as feminists do with misogynists in the physical world) shows that there is a culture that, generally, is equally or more hurtful to women as/than the real world. Thinking about it, I'm not so sure that such a design would even be inappropriate for the physical world....
Ha, yeah. The dress probably would not be the best thing to go out in public with but hey, it's still cool. I honestly see it being a clingy-er dress that has shoulder fins and a black boarder around the opening for the arms. And a high neck line. Eh.
