Oh my god, where do I start? This dress is just totally amazing. Your technique is great, and the dress is totally amazing. If you made this, every girl would want one to wear! The shadeing is just fantastic, and the model, *sigh* your really goos. I excpesially love the corset with the bow on it. Genious! And the puffy sleve things(I don't know what they are called) are really great. Over all, this peice might be one of my favorites of yours. It is really just beautiful and I love it. Just keep up the great work and stuff!
I'd like to start off by saying that this is a lovely gown, and probably my favorite of the hair color series so far. The design has a very unified look, and the contrast between the black dress with the pale skin of the model is a very nice touch. The model herself is quite beautiful, I adore the look on her face and the side-swept appearance of her hair. The broadness of her shoulders lends an air of imperiousness and power while not making her look masculine, so to that I say well done.
I only have a couple of things to point out that I think could be improved on. First, the hand on her waist seems a bit odd. The fingers appear almost mangled if you look close, which is a bit distracting. It's not very obvious from first glance, though. Second, the bow on her corset - I feel as if it would be better placed in the center instead of off to the side, to give the design more symmetry, but that might just be my own personal preference.
In short, this is a very lovely, well-designed dress that very nicely illustrates the concept intended. I like the majestic, regal appearance of both the gown and the girl wearing it. Nice job, I look forward to your next dress!
unfortunately i dont have an upgraded account so i can't leave critiques. i thought raven black was suppose to black black, not darkest shade brown. the dress is black black, but not the puffs on the arms or hair. my opinion is if they were made black black it would fit the overall image quite nicely. otherwise, yet another stunning piece of fashion.
Sometimes in certain types of light people with that hair color appear to be brunettes. I know people who absolutly hate that fact. They get asked "What shade of brown is that?" and then I have to calm them down. But yeah your only half right. It is the right color but the light source mimics the suns effect.
I love this, and the models face you drew works perfectly. The decorative necklace balances her out perfectly and bring my attention to her because it's so noticeable and den it draws my eyes to the big bow. Big bows are trending right now, I like how you put it at the top corner!! I like how you used lace (I'm guessing) in the middle of the top, nice use of line, as well as the beads draping on the ball gown's skirt <3
