I find the dress to be very eye catching. The skirt is very cleverly done and I love the layers! The colour scheme is basic and simplistic which makes the glittery arms/shoulders very eye catching, another plus in my opinion.
I'm not enjoying the design on the corset, it gives me the feel of something more Celtic then something 'magic'. Though I do enjoy the idea of having a design there. The moon, as it stands right now reminds me of Sailor Moon. (Which could just be my inner nerdiness talking).
Going back to things I enjoy, I really enjoy the Banner and the way it is attached to the dress. It is a brilliant idea and fits in very nicely with all the layers of the dress.
This is a very impressive gown. It's eye-catching, elegant, and fairly simplistic. The color scheme is very nice, although in my opinion it would make more sense to use the color scheme of the four Harry Potter houses for a Pottermore Dress. The pointed collar does have a very "witchy" feel which feels appropriate for the dress, and the sleeves help add a magical feel to the look.
I like how even though the dress has some fancy decorations, it's not overloaded with detail that will distract the eye. It's a very simple, unified look, and the design on the bodice is quite nice. The necklace is also a very nice touch.
I'd have to say that my only two complaints are about the skirt - while the draping layers are lovely, they seem to slant off towards one side, and I feel a more symmetrical arrangement would be better. And the hanging banner, although keeping with the theme very nicely, seems a bit impractical. I feel like it would bump against the legs if someone tried to walk in this dress, and it stands out a bit too much. Perhaps a more subtle way to put the letter P on the dress would work better.
Complaints aside, this is a beautiful dress with a very creative design. I look forward to seeing your next design!
Not sure this makes much sense, but I love how the dress is 'Pottermore' and not 'Harry Potter' style. Really magical, I'd wear if I found an appropriate occasion
All of your dresses are beautiful. If I may make a suggestion, perhaps you could try a MSPaintAdventures dress? You probably have a million comments everyday suggesting ideas, and you may even have already chosen the rest of the websites you're using for Web in Vogue, but I just thought I'd give my input. Keep up the lovely, amazing work. <3
