I spent the WHOLE day making this Sailor Moon fanart/wallpaper. I'm destroyed. But it turned out better than I would think.. so I'm satisfied XD I made it with Adobe Photoshop CS3
This is really good! The motion is fantastic and I like the crispness of the lines and the colors. Her head is a little squooshed, though. If you extended her chin/the rest of her face out to the right just a little, it would fix the problem. The shape of the back of her head is fine, though, so don't move that. Also, it couldn't hurt to raise her ear up just a tiny bit, and make it a little larger. I notice that her hand and arm are a little blurred, while most of her wand thing is not. The blur helps add motion to the picture, which is good, but it looks a little strange if only her arm has a motion blur effect, and the item it's holding does not. It looks like you used a smudge tool for the blur on her arm, which gives it a sort of strange bend to the outer edge, which looks a little unnatural. Other than that, though, its a fantastic image!
I love the effects that you used on this as well as the coloring. The stars used on the background add a nice effect to the piece. I like how you used the blurring effect to emphasize the motion effect on her twirling. I can tell you put a lot of time into the detail as well. I appreciate all of the details that make up the character were not missed. I also like the action and detail in the hair.
The only thing to work on is body proportions on the head and arm. Practice makes perfect.
On the whole, wonderful piece. Keep up the good work.
There's something odd with the shape of her head, although I can't pinpoint exactly what... The face itself is beautiful, though, and so is the hair. The sparkle brushes really add a nice touch too. ^^ Good job!
