The expression in this dress is much more pronounced than your two recent entries. Ginger Red Gown is exuberant with color and detail. It is a good compromise of reddish hues and elegant decorations, from the strands of the rose to the flowing drapes of the dress. I can see you're improving. However, I still have a few things to say regarding the character and a few minor things about the dress.
This is ultimately a matter of opinion, but the hairstyle does not go with the expression of the gown. The hair-style should be something that is in tune with what you are trying to express with this submission. I feel a curly ponytail hairstyle goes well with it, as it expresses a sort of passionate feel for both the character and the dress. I understand you are experimenting with hairstyles as well, but I think you should make separate submissions regarding dresses and hairstyles. Certain times a hairstyle would seem a wonderful fashion on its own, but seem mismatching towards a particular dress.
The gown, while seemingly flawless and opulent in design, could be improved. However, these are only minor suggestions. I feel you could have done more with the dress, such as adding more roses to the lower drapes. A rose-like pattern could have also been embedded on the shawl or the upper part of the dress. These suggestions do not imply your work needs improvement because of poor quality, but rather could use some spicing up to it.
You have done very well in this submission. There really isn't much to criticize. I regard this as a work of good quality and impressive artistry. Great job!
i think its beautiful (as always) BUT its too red for ginger. ginger is more of an orange, so if you're going to do a hair colour line, try to stick to the natural hair colour. the ginger does have some orange tints to it, but not enough to look like a real, solid ginger. also her foot that you can see is a different skin tone as to the rest of her body. as for the dress, its beautiful and elegant and flowing and absolutely breathtaking. i just love the design at the top. your work is still as beautiful as ever
When I read the title and saw the silhouette of the dress, I thought you were referring to Ginger Rogers. This looks like the kind of thing she would wear to dance in her movies. Not really the color I associate with 'ginger', but it's a real nice design. Really love the draping detail around the neckline.
I tried to make something original and less foregone but... yeah during the making of the design I always had Ginger Rogers in mind XD unconsciously! so the design is full of her "essence", even though it wasn't my intention.
oooh, i can't wait to see what you do next! i won't assume you're just following a pattern of doing a set of natural hair color inspired haute couture gowns, but if you are, SQEE i can't wait to se brunette!!
