OK, I'm going to write a critique but beware that I'm not a designer or professional in the field. I'm just going to write from the perspective of someone that may be looking for a dress to buy.
First of all I'm the kind of person that likes to wear moderately loose clothes, and that´s usually one my first criteria when looking for clothing. I like that the dress does not look asphyxiating, but I would like the waistband to be a bit tighter or maybe made of some fabric that would fall the same way as the top (does that make sense?). It kinda gives me the feeling that the top and the bottom part are two separate things.
About the bottom part of the dress: I love it! Some details: the rose in the back I'd like it at the waist. And maybe the black fabric could be replaced by some fabric that does not retain the wrinkles. I would not like to sit down and have wrinkles on my dress once I get up ^^
All that being said, please don't feel like I'm "destroying" your work or anything like that. My mom used to make clothes at home and I know is very hard sometimes. Hope you do more stuff, maybe your friend would like to be your model again <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
Good job!!
