Autumn Couture

At first, I could only see the connection to Autumn in the first dress. But as I looked at it more, I made some personal connections to these dresses.
The first dress reminds me of autumn leaves, and I loved to step on the fallen leaves just randomly while I was walking when I was little. It's safe to say pretty much every kid enjoyed that. I also love the yellow-tan poncho/cape/hoodie thingy. I have an obsession with ponchos, hoodies, and scarves, so I could definitely see myself wearing that.
The second dress made me think of dawn, morning dew, and the mist in the air at 6 in the morning (at least here in Colorado it's like that). It automatically made me think of walking to the bus stop in autumn, how I can still see the changing hues in the sky, and the splotchy, blotches of mist, and I think the watercolor-like dress really captures that, and the puffy sleeves just add onto that.
I have a cousin who I'm really close to who just got into the Marines recently, so the third dress really reminds me of her, and how she wouldn't get in a dress if the world depended on it, even though she loved jewelry.
The final dress made me think of stars in the night sky. I think night time is my favorite time of the day, because I can just relax and look at the stars, listen to music, and forget about reality. In autumn, the sky isn't quite that midnight blue that it is during winter, but more of a violet, and this dress captured that perfectly.
Overall, this collection is amazing. The vision is beautiful. The colors are carefully picked, and you can see you put a lot of thought into these dresses. This is definitely original. I've never seen anyone use such a daring palette for a fall collection, and it definitely worked out here. The technique was great, too. Everything is drawn beautifully, and it's neat and good-looking. This definitely impacted me a lot. I made a lot of personal connections, and I think others will be able to do that too here. Overall, this is fantastic. I love it!
